Yanmen Pass, located within the Yanmenshan Mountain approximately 20 kilometers north of Daixian county, Xinzhou, Shanxi province, is a historically significant stronghold of the Great Wall of China. It is renowned for its rugged terrain and strategic importance, earning the title "No. 1 Pass of China". Along with Ningwu Pass and Pianguan Pass, Yanmen Pass is one of the "Three Outer Passes". Historical Significance
